1. Continous production melting furnace system
Single melting furnace is widely used in atomization system nowadays. Except this system, continuous production melting furnace system is also available here. It can be equipped with double-door crucible (2 sets of melting furnace bodies) or double-door with double-crucible (4 sets of melting furnace bodies), which enhances productivity and meets various requirements.
2. Advanced atomizing technology
We can offer different atomizing techonologies according to various requirements on powders;
VIGA (Vacuum Induction Gas Atomization)
Metals or alloys are melted in Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) furnace. The melt is poured through a preheated tundish system into a gas nozzle where the melt stream is disintegreated into droplets by the kinetic energy of a high pressure inert gas stream. The small droplets will be solidified into tiny spherical powders in flight in the atomization tower.
EIGA(Electrode Induction Gas Atomization)
Feedstock, in the form of bar, is rotated and melted by high frequency induction coil without any contact. A thin film of molten metal flows into the gas nozzle system where the metal is atomized with inert gas. Therefore, material does not come to contact with either crucible or electrode duringthe whole process, which keeps ultra-high purity of atomized powders.
The EIGA process was originally developed for reative alloys such as titanium and high-melting alloys. It can also be applied to many other materials.
